Steve Wilcox – Public Relations Account Supervisor

Steve Wilcox knows public relations… and marketing communications, particularly in the commercial/business-to-business space. Steve is an award-winning public relations/marketing communications leader with both agency and corporate experience. He brings real-world, straightforward strategies and tactics to the table for clients in industrial, manufacturing and technology segments. As part of the public relations group at LRG, Steve works with the agency’s industrial and commercial B2B clients. He develops programs for clients that incorporate strategic planning, media relations, technical communications, traditional and Web-based advertising and presentation materials.
Prior to joining LRG, Steve worked with a variety of clients in markets for contract furnishings, industrial equipment, telematics technologies and energy systems. In addition, he’s developed programs that incorporate everything from Web lead generation and print advertising to e-tailing, direct mail and distribution programs. On the editorial side, he’s created programs that focus on client bench strength, combining op-eds, technical stories, features and case histories to present cohesive, flexible outreach programs.
Steve is a graduate of Northern Illinois University with a degree in journalism/public relations. He’s a strong proponent of football’s eternal, always-works hook-and-ladder play and the timeless 20-foot jump shot (which is no longer displayed in the NBA). And although he’s a Bears fan, he’s generally allowed into the LRG offices… usually without incident.
